“Early Spring” is one of my paintings using Watercolor Inks. With this method you get interesting flow/flares and distinct edges and very deep tones. My goal in a painting is first – have fun. Fun making it and fun looking at it.
Secondly – Beauty. It touches your heart somehow.
Thirdly – complete-ness. Not precision perhaps. But it takes you somewhere. It communicates to you or transports you.
I find many places in this work that just make me enjoy looking.
